PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST THEME: The Best of Pocatello.
RULES:
1. Up to 5 entries per photographer. No prints
larger than 8x10. (Must be able to enlarge to 16x20 for winners display at
Pocatello City Hall.) Entrance fee is $5.00 per image.
2. Each entry must be mounted on an 11x14 black photo mat.
3. Entries must be dropped off with a representative from Event Horizon Studios- Please call (208) 317-6938 for pickup days.
4. Display period will run from November 9th to November 21st, online at www.pokyphotocontest.com. Display period at the Marshall Public Library TBA.
5. Applicants birthday must fall within 30 days of the November first deadline to qualify for each age category.
6. This contest is for amateur and semi-professional photographers only. No images from professionals will be accepted. (Professional is defined as someone who makes a majority of their income from photography).
7. Minor photo editing is permissible, however this contest focuses on the photographers ability create beautiful photography rather than edited pictures. Color correction is permissible, for more information email register@pokyphotocontest.com.
Judging:
All judging will be done by the public over the display period. All judging is anonymous. Photographic prints must not contain names, phone numbers, web addresses, or any identifying mark. Due to public viewing/judging, please keep all entries G rated. All entries will be identified by number for anonymous judging.
Prizes:
Prizes will be determined listed online at www.pokyphotocontest.com as well as www.eventhorizonstudios.com. Any additional proceeds from entrance fees will be donated to the Marshall Public Library at the end of the contest.
Releases:
All contestants must fill out a property release & hold harmless agreement. Contestant holds harmless Event Horizon Studios, The Marshall Public Library, and any other sponsor for damages to entered images. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGES TO ENTERED IMAGES IN THE PHOTO CONTEST.
